Today 17th of August 2022, the assumption of the office of the governor committee held its fourth meeting.The committee is chaired by the county secretary Mr Karanja Njora, a membership drawn from various chief officers, and representative from NPS, NIS, County Commissioner and the Governors' nominees namely Mr. Peter Ndirangu Hinga, Ms. Silvia Museiya Kihoro and Mr. Sam Koinange Wahome .
The committee is tasked with duties to ensure a smooth transition and planning the swearing in of the Governor Elect H.E Joshua Irungu.
