Laikipia's geographical stashing between the ice-capped Mt. Kenya, and the panoramic Aberdare Ranges, provides a natural choice for domestic tourists.

This is complemented by the strategic positioning of Nanyuki, and the undulating plains unfolding northwards to Lewa downs, by the Mt. Kenya Tourism Circuit as some of the Country's most spectacular sceneries.

All these fetes is self-promoting and calls for government's intervention to transform it from good to great.

To make Laikipia more attractive, we will promote sports tourism, invest in sports infrastructure as well provide incentives for conferencing, business traveling, and international wildlife research.

We will also make direct government intervention to promote ecotourism and conservational hospitality within communities relieving the local the tourism sector of the strained bed count to support local and international tourism.
