Outgoing LCDA boss Mr. John Mwaniki has welcomed his successor, Mr. James Mugambi who took over from him today at the LCDA offices in Nanyuki.

  

Mr. Mugambi brings on board a wealth of experience in donor relations, resource mobilization, policy-making, and stakeholder management.

  

Mr. Mwaniki thanked the LCDA team for their professionalism, and for the support they accorded to him during his tenure, and during the transition period.

  

He highlighted several successful projects undertaken during his tenure in office and urged the staff to even scale higher that success, under the new leadership.

  

The handover was witnessed by the Ag. County Secretary Mr. Koinange Wahome CEC Finance Samuel Wachira, and LCDA staff members.

  

Incoming LCDA boss, Mr.Mugambi, pledged to continue building on his predecessor's success as well as reconfiguring LCDA's mission and vision, in line with H.E Governor Joshua Irungu, EGH manifesto.

  

Mr. Koinange welcomed the new CEO and expressed his optimism that, with his knowledge of managing strategic partnerships and donor relations, the CGL will be able to secure additional funding to complement CGL's exchequer allocation and grants.

  

CECM for finance Mr. Wachira too, appreciated the outgoing CEO while also promising utmost support to the new CEO.

  

CGL and LCDA appreciate the works of Mr. John Mwaniki and wish him while warmly welcoming, Mr. Mugambi, to Laikipia Public Service.
