Governor Joshua Irungu,EGH presides over the swearing in of our County Secretary and County Chief Officers (COs) in pursuant to the provision of section 45 of the County Governments Act, 2012 and section 11 (2) of the Public Appointments (County Assemblies Approval) Act, 2017; that outlines the procedures guiding this process.
With this opportunity the appointed COs serve as our accounting and authorized officer in their respective County Departments headed by County Executive Committee Members (CECMs).
