The four months intensive training was facilitated by the Department of Agriculture through the Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project(KCSAP).

The farmers could not hide their joy as they received the certificates as they sang a special song that highlights all the techniques and technologies used in production -a proof of how efficient the training was.
Of the nine groups that graduated, six have been funded by KSCAP and the other three, will receive a grant of KES 500,000 each this year, highlighted Mr. Lincoln Njiru, KSCAP Coordinator.
The event that took place on 7th March 2023 was graced by H.E the First Lady Grace Irungu who encouraged the farmers to use the skills gained to improve their livelihoods and spread the knowledge to other farmers
