Laikipia County Official Prayers

  1
You must always desire to be a faithful steward in whatever you do, and remember thanksgiving is not just said, but also demonstrated.
This was the message from Bishop Paul Mwaniki of GCCI Zion City to the County Government of Laikipia staff as he presided over the first County Official prayers for all county officials.
This is the beginning of what will be a monthly norm to ensure the county staff praise and thank God as a team.
The bishop urged the staff to serve with diligence while putting God first in everything they do, with thanks giving, to ensure Laikipians benefit from the services offered.
Everyone must learn to enjoy what they do every day. It may not be what you want, but for now its what you need; so, at all times show gratitude. Always know thanksgiving is not just said, but demonstrated, Bishop Mwaniki advised.
Bible verses from Genesis 1:1 and 28, and Genesis 2:15 guided the preaching of the day.
Governor Joshua Irungu EGH, said that the County Prayers Day has been long overdue.
We are a God-fearing County. We want to put God in all our endeavors so that our county continues to offer services to the residents with diligence, Governor Joshua Irungu said. This is a day I have been longing for to give thanks to God for giving us an opportunity to serve in our different capacities in this county, he added.
