County Government of Laikipia

On January 3rd, 2024, Governor Joshua Irungu EGH presided over the first County Management Team (CMT) meeting of 2024 at the Rumuruti County Headquarters to review the progress made in 2023 and set new targets for 2024.
Taking place at the beginning of the year, the meeting aided in identification of challenges experienced in 2023, and ways to improve service delivery to the people of Laikipia going forward.
The county government is focusing on completion of ongoing projects, providing clean water to every family within a kilometer and also expanding healthcare facilities to every location among other major projects.
