County Government of Laikipia

The Marmanet /Rumuruti Forest electric fence to address human wildlife conflict has started. The fence being constructed by Kenya Wildlife Service opens an interesting collaboration among communities bordering the forest, County Government of Laikipia and KWS with skills transfer from KWS technicians to young people from community who will maintain the fence after completion with support from the County government.
