County Government of Laikipia

July 9, 2024: Laikipia County has added another ECDE classroom after completion of Naiborom ECDE class in Ol moran ward.
The Governor, HE. Joshua Irungu EGH officially opened the classroom together with Laikipia County Development partner lea.
The realization of Naiborom ECDE classroom has been through a partnership between the County Government of Laikipia and Guernsey Overseas Aid and Development Commission.
This class is fitted with colorful learning materials and furniture designed to stimulate cognitive aspects of learners and making their learning environment more attractive and appealing.
Additionally, the classroom has also been fitted with 10,000-litre capacity tank for learners and teachers.
Presenting during the official opening included: County secretary Mr. Koinange, Ag CECM Education Mr. Stephen Kisorio, Chief Officers Mr. John Gichuki (Education), Mr. Daniel Ngumi (Finance), and Ms. Jecinta Koree (Youth), and officials from the Ministry of Education Kirima Sub-County.
