August 2024th started off in an auspicious note after the residents of Kanampiu, Sosian ward after Governor Joshua Irungu EGH broke ground for construction of two ECDE centres in the area.
The project is a strategic partnership between government and Breeding Botanicals farm, a noble consideration from Breeding Botanicals farm.
To add to the good news, Governor Irungu directed County Department of Education to liaise with that of Physical Planning in expediting demarcation and planning of new primary school, a health centres and other social amenities in the same on the 50-acre land.
Actualisation of the project will bridge the eight-kilometres students and pupils travels to access the nearest school.
I commend the management of the Breeding Botanicals farm for choosing to team up with the Laikipia Government to bring a modern Kaniampiu ECDE facility to fruition for the benefit of local children, the Governor said.
