HE. Governor Joshua Irungu EGH Officiates Graduation Of 192 Ajiry Centre Students

On August 12, 2024, Governor Joshua Irungu officiated the graduation ceremony of 192 Ajiry Centre graduates, and event, held in Rumuruti, coincided with International Youth Day.
The youthful graduates graduated with various short courses including: computer packages, social media management, and artistic courses such as voice control, audio recording, among others.
Governor Irungu congratulated the graduates, urging them to use their new skills to improve their lives and those of their friends.
"I look forward to hearing how you've used these skills to better your life, either by starting something new or complementing your existing talents," he said.
Ajiry Centre, a private-government partnership, established a digital centre in Nyahururu town on December 7, 2023 having a computer lab and a recording studio. Training at the centre is provided free of charge.
The Governor also announced plans to establish similar Ajiry digital centres in Laikipia East and Laikipia North.
