Development MOU Between Laikipia County And Equity Group Kenya

        On October 1, 2024, County Government of Laikipia entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Equity Group Kenya.
HE. Governor Joshua Irungu EGH signed the MoU on behalf of CGL, while Equity Group Managing Director, Mr. Moses Nyabanda, signed on behalf of Equity Group Kenya.
The partnership seeks to assist the county in harnessing its potential in agriculture, water, tourism and trade through LPO financing and business growth.
The successful implementation of this partnership will boost Laikipia Countys economic tide with different sectors expanding, value addition of agricultural produce, revenue generation and creation of employment creation.
During the MoU signing, 137 graduates were awarded with certificates after successfully completing two-day training on Financial Literacy and Entrepreneurship at Nanyuki Social Hall - between September 24th and 25th, 2024
