Senior County Manager's Workshop, February 26 27, 2019

County senior managers had a two days workshop that was aimed at refining the workflow process from senior managers to the junior staff in an effort of fastening implementation of development projects.
This workshop that was conducted by KPMG and attended by the Governor and Deputy Governor on its last day was designed to achieve a result-based team.
A result-based team takes a result-based approach in project implementation. This style focuses on the outcome's impact; meaning the impact of the project is what matters rather than the magnitude of the project or investment value.
In practice, to realize the government's development agenda, campaign promises must birth policies, and policies must give forth results - measurable outcome.
What this means is that every work at all levels must sync to the manifesto which in it has, among others; affordable and quality healthcare, creation of 30, 000 jobs annually, creation of smart towns, and making Laikipia a top tourists destination.
Therefore, what junior staffs are doing, must stem from their seniors, then to the managers at the level of directors, chief officers to CECs. It is a staircase where every person at every level builds on to what the other person is doing on the other level.
