Laikipia County in partnership with Football Kenya Federation FKF have sent four referees for a two days training in Nakuru County. The team will be led by Laikipia FKF manager Abdul Kaka.
Deputy Governor Hon. John Mwaniki together with Education and Sport Ag. CO Annette Muriuki, and Sport Director Madam Elizabeth presented; certificates, Uniforms, flags, cards, and whistles that are mandatory for referees in training and in the field.
The County intends to rehabilitate Nanyuki, Nyahururu and Rumuruti stadiums in this 2018/2019 financial budget. For our playgrounds across the county, monies have been factored in on our next 2019/2020 budget.
Sporting events would be starting from ward levels, sub-county level, county level up to regional level otherwise called Regional level- central.
To enable our County teams to move easily, while participating within and outside the county, our 2019/2020 budget will factor in a County Sport bus.
