County Government of Laikipia

The county has streamlined community health strategies and community health volunteers in provision of key preventive interventions to communities through engagement of 225 CHVs and this is set to be upgraded to 550 CHVs

The county has been mapped into units of 200 households each manned by a CHV

Key high impact interventions including vitamin,iron foliage supplementation, nutritional counselling and management of malnutrition has been strengthened

Immunisation and other child preventive interventions have been strengthened through opening of 20 new immunising facilities through provision of modern (EPI) fridges and other commodities.
