Training For The Clergy In Laikipia On Manufacturing

The county government of Laikipia has been taking steps aimed at ensuring enhancement of manufacturing in the county by tapping on all stakeholders.
Today, February 10, 2021, a group of 60 clergy men and women from the region had a day-long session with various consultants on matters manufacturing in a bid to help the locals become self-reliant as there is huge potential.
Such is a replica of a training for a similar group that took place on February 8 this year in Nyahururu.
The clergy form a crucial stakeholder to mobilize others in venturing into manufacturing.
Laikipia government has so far tapped on 500 SMEs under the Laikipia County Innovation and Development programme as a step towards supporting local manufacturing.
Governor Ndiritu Muriithi has asked the clergy to refer any person with unique ideas to the Innovation Programme for better support from the government.
As a government we are tasked to hand-hold the innovators and to help them remove bureaucratic forces that they may encounter, He said
