Laikipia County Governor's Cup Set To Resume Next Month

Laikipia County Governor's Cup is set to resume next month on a date to be announced soon. According to Laikipia Deputy Governor H.E Reuben Ngatia Kamuri, the tournament seeks to nurture talent and give exposure to youth in Laikipia County. He further noted that the Governor's Cup league would go beyond promoting sports but also promote peace and cohesion among the different communities within the county.
The county Sports Department will embark on identifying 15 teams from across the county who will compete for the ultimate prize. The teams will be drawn from Laikipia East, Laikipia West and Laikipia North. The Deputy Governor has called upon partners to come on board and support the three-month league. He spoke at his office in Nanyuki during a courtesy call by Nation Media Group.
