County Disburses 3.8 Million Bursary Fund In Nanyuki Ward

The county government of Laikipia has today disbursed bursary cheques worth 3.8 million to 868 deserving students from Nanyuki ward.
This allocation, disbursed at an event held at Nanyuki Social Hall, forms part of the broader 75 million county bursary fund, aimed at alleviating the financial burden on Laikipia students and their families.
In his remarks, the CO Trade, Mr. Samuel Njuki, who led today's disbursement, stressed that the county government is committed to addressing the financial challenges faced by students to ensure that they can pursue their academic aspirations with greater ease and focus.
"By facilitating access to educational funds, the county is demonstrating a dedication to nurture talent and foster academic excellence within the community." Said Mr. Njuki.
Accompanying CO Trade Mr. Samuel Njuki were key government officials, namely: Mr. Burje Mohamed, CO Economic Planning and County Development; Ms. Annette Muriuki, Director Legal Services and Secretary to Cabinet, Mr. Patrick Muraguri, P.A. Governor; Mr. Kiarie Munga, Head of Protocol;among other members of the Nanyuki Bursary Committee.
